We have established a Community Owned Renewable Power Co-Op in the Nambucca Valley to undertake research and community outreach to establish the viability of a community-owned renewable power hub involving:
- Installation of solar systems and shared storage batteries in households which may struggle to afford to do so.
- Low power bills for shire residents and raise net annual incomes.
- Transition to renewables economy to bring secure, well-paid jobs to the region.
- Achieve a zero net emissions Shire by 2030.
